Fused Glass Designs

Using 2mm soda-lime glass recycled from picture framing of our own artwork, the glass is cut to size and fused together with inclusions of raw metals/prepared oxides to create colour, texture and various tones to give the work an original and unique contemporary effect.  

 

The Glass is fused in a Kiln to around 850 degrees centigrade and the whole process is 24 hours long. 

 

Additional colour and effect is also  created by the use of collaged waste papers to enhance any particular design. 

 

Our Contemporary designs are both figurative and abstract.  Each one is unique to our own design.
