About the event
From the beginning, you will be helped to choose a landscape that you either know well or imagine from times visiting the countryside. You will be presented with a variety of papers, waste papers, handmade papers, plus a variety of other textured materials to choose from.
You will learn the different effects that can be achieved from tearing, cutting, and persuading materials into a form to give a 3D effect that evokes a landscape in your mind’s eye. Guidance will be given on collaging skies, rivers, lakes, and the sea for those who wish to include these features. Advice on gluing and creating a good quality finish will, of course, be present throughout the whole session. Numbers are kept low so there is always a helping hand available.
You can, of course, bring textural items/papers you would like to include, but all materials are provided for this creative and fun…
