About the event
From the beginning, you will be helped to choose a shape of Tree that you can imagine from times visiting the countryside..... we will also provide helpful images of trees to help get started. You will be presented with a variety of papers, waste papers, handmade papers, plus a variety of other textured materials to choose from.
You will learn the different effects that can be achieved from tearing, cutting and persuading materials into a form to give a 3D effect that evokes a Tree in your mind’s eye. Guidance will be given of how to get the best collaging results .
Advice on gluing and creating a good quality finish will be present throughout the whole session. Numbers are kept low so there is always a helping hand available.
You can of course bring textural items/papers you would like to include, but all materials are provided for this creative…
